For the last 30 years the credit and political risk insurance market has played a significant role in the development of an increasingly connected global economy. With the growing need to mobilise private capital to support essential financing into developing countries, the market for Non-Payment Insurance (NPI) for Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) has also increased in size as they use the product to manage the growth of their balance sheets whilst also diversifying their credit exposures.

In our 2022 DFI Report, we look to discover more about the NPI market’s support for DFIs, by surveying global underwriting teams.
